I spent all day yesterday watching guy's catching huge gar .one was cooked up on a grill along with a pile of links & boudain .
About five a boat come tearing up river before lines could be retrieved and three lines with wire leaders and corks ended up wrapped around the guys prop .
No lie .

The ole skeeter has not been in the water in four years. Put new batteries in it today . Is turned over well which was a surprise . Redoing a bunch of the wiring . Filled with fresh gas and will see about firing it up tomorrow . New tags next week and we may go see if it will still float .
Told my fishing buddy Sunday while we were fishing his new fangled boat just didn't have the hang of catching fish like the ole skeeter did . Time will tell .
