I'm sure many of us have our own versions of the basic hamburger.
I generally take 1 and 1/2 pounds of 85/15 ground beef and mix in a half of a finely chopped onion, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and lea and perrins Worcestershire sauce.
Separate them into about 6 oz. patties and place them in the freezer for about 20 minutes. Then grill them. No measuring the seasonings, just eye-balling it.
