I was looking at some of the news video of the flooding around Monroe when I came across a story labeled "Reports of Houseboats Loose" on the KNOE web site.. check it out...

Reports of Houseboats Loose

While the flooding is terrible.. so was the "news anchor".. this guy says that boats were "floating UP-RIVER" from Darbonne and could hit the Louisville bridge in Monroe... NOT.. first, boats don't float UP-RIVER in floods.. and second, Monroe is downstream from Darbonne Bayou....

I guess that is why they call these guys "news anchors"... that is about what he is good for.. an anchor.. a boat anchor... He obviously wasn't from Louisiana...

My old stomping grounds I used to launch at the boat ramp at that bridge two or three times a week when I lived there. The Big "O" river is right there......
