I advise everyone who fishes alone to carry and be aware of your surroundings before you get of your vehicle.
There are some really bad guys out there. Wish I would have been with young Poche to protect him.
Dang, what a shame! RIP a better place.

I used to put in at some really out of the way places when I lived in Louisiana but unfortunately these days those same out of the way places attract drug users/dealers AKA thieves and thugs. If you go any place like this I also highly advise you not to keep anything of value in your tow vehicle. I actually keep mine unlocked and they would literally have to steal the whole vehicle to get anything of value...........
