Fished Houston river yesterday for bream and crappie. Water was high and very fast. Some of the current was due to recent rains but I think some of the current was due to higher tides right now. I wonder if the full moon has anything to do with the higher tides? Caught gills in slack water around some stumps. If I could find a slack pool, that was usually better with more bites. Lots of debris in water.
Just can't find any big gills in the Houston. Crappie seen scarce also.
