When it is too hot to fish... I look for other "stuff" to do around the place... stuff that can be done in the shade... Here are a couple of projects I have done besides washing the boat and greasing the trailer wheels....

From my Dad's old Tackle Box....

From an early 1950's 2"X3 picture of Dad (on right) and a on old paddle from home and the 60s...

But, then again I have too much "stuff" around the house and too much time on my hands....

I'm about to start to rebuild my spinner bait collection. I opened my spinner bait box yesterday for the first time since about 2000, felt like I was opening a time capsule. They've been sitting in my closet so long most of the skirts have dry rotted and fallen off. Almost 3 dozen of them............... I plan to run down to Lake Fork Tackle in Emory and see if they have what I need to put them back like new next week.........
