Hey Guys I have a 1996 200 Venom Johnsonrude....I went to buy 2 cycle oil today and noticed the label changed! It read that this oil is recommended for small to medium sized motors! Whats the deal...is it still good for big motors, or is the label accurate?

I know this thread is kind of old but wanted to chime in. I was always told by my mechanic that as long as it said "TCW3" then it was ok to use. That being said, I think they all say TCW3. taz

I'm not sure about the small to medium thing, that fits the classification of my 2cycle engine 50 hp.
Other one is 4 stroke so doesn't count.
I would think that with these "newfangled lean burn" 2 cycle engines (e-tech) there may be a new class of oil they require.
Do you have an older engine or one of the new ones? Older engine should be ok.
Anyone got one of these E-tech engines?
