Hello all, my name is BJ and I recently moved to north Louisiana after retiring from the United States Marine Corps. While I was stationed in Texas I used Texas fishing forum quite often to meet new anglers and learn fishing tips and tricks for their local,lakes. Does anybody out there actually use this site for that reason or is it only an off topic sort of social media site for a closed circle group of locals??
Please don't take that the wrong way. I'm seriously interested to meeting some new folks and learning the beautiful lakes in North Louisiana.

 We are normally here early morning and evenings. Beware the following; Fishing Redneck lies about fishing. He has NEVER caught a fish. Mitzbob poses with fish he buys. Armadillo Joe is here to panhandle money. Lakeway 50 is the warden. Send money when in dought I am the ONLY one you can trust

Welcome to n. LA., and LFF! We are not closed group, open always, we are slowly building. I fish mostly black lake in campti and a private pond. Lots of great lakes up here. Caddo, black bayou, bistineau, red river. And thank you for your service sir

Welcome aboard, I moderate this outfit and grew up in the twin cities area. I'm stuck in Texas right now but doing everything I can to get back to the sportsmans paradise..........

Thanks lakewaydr50. Hopefully this site will catch on like TFF did. Eventually somebody will see this post and offer to fish with me and show me how to catch some large mouth up here.
