Windy was the word Saturday!
3 bass tournaments out of Woodsons Landing this weekend, all reporting good weigh in's.
Bass are doing well, mostly in the early morning. Spinner baits seem to be the lure of choice. Some creature baits as well.
Crappie bite is still improving. Most we caught were in shallow water (3 foot or less) against trees. They have yet to move against the banks. Friday nights storms produced a lot of rain and the water was on the rise from runoff. Shiners are the bait of choice for now. You still have to hunt the fish as they still seem to be "spread out".
Water temps in the mid to high 60's now. Air temps were in the 70's during the day and 40's at night.
Water was "turbid" due to the storms and wind.
