Fishing continues to be on the slow side still.
Water temps are in the low to mid 60's. The water is a little more "turbid" in most areas than normal, probably from the recent rains. The water level is just to the high side of normal.
Bass are the best bet currently. A small weekend tournament turned better numbers than the last report.
Bass are hanging in the structure and grass (when you can find it). Crappie bite appeared to improve just a little. They are definitely in the shallower waters now and can be found abot 1 to 2 feet deep in the brush/button woods and against cypress knees and a few around the trees. As the water continues to warm, so will the bite.

Nice catch! We are probably a week or two behind you on the spawn. They are up near the surface now and moving to the banks. I hope to catch some good ones this weekend.
