We are going to be doing a blast and cast in Hackberry on the 21st. Coming in From iday and wanted to do a bit of fishing. No boat. Any ideas on where to go? Appreciate any feedback. Bait, artificial. Anything is fine.

You keep heading south on HWY 27 past Hackberry and there are recreational fishing areas right off the road. I have caught reds, drum, and flounder throwing bait shrimp at these spots.
