I've used the San Diego Jam knot and the Trilene knot both with success.

I've tied the Trilene knot most of my life but have almost always fished with mono. I usually tie a Trilene knot in my braid with a drop of super glue but I really need to master the Palomar for fluorocarbon. I plan to try it on my finesse set up this year
